Nestled on 16 acres along the banks of the Sundays River on the outskirts of historic Graaff-Reinet, Domaine du Cap is a remarkable property steeped in over two centuries of Cape heritage, and is the newest addition to the celebrated Du Cap Collection.

The homestead of the former farm De Erf dates to the early nineteenth century (1806) - one of the oldest and most architecturally significant farm houses in the region, arguably more redolent of the great houses of the Cape Winelands than of the typical Graaff-Reinet farm house of its period.

Now reimagined as a world-class destination retreat, the property is currently undergoing a sensitive restoration - including bespoke landscaping by renowned designer Leon Klug - and is set to open in Spring 2026.

Guests will have exclusive use of the grand manor house and two private cottages, sleeping up to 16 guests across 7 en-suite bedrooms. Day drives can be arranged at the nearby Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve and Samara Private Game Reserve, offering guests the chance to encounter the Big Five and the wide-open splendour of the Karoo malterrain.
